Jeremiah Johnson (b.1974) was raised on a fruit and flower farm in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania. As a child Jeremiah spent his days playing in the woods and his nights drawing. Once he graduated from high school he left the farm to become an artist in the big city of Philadelphia. Johnson received his BFA from Tyler School of Art of Temple University and eventually went on to get his MFA in print, paper and book arts from Syracuse University.

He currently makes art in the studio he shares with his wife and fashion designer Duyen Nguyen in Thibodaux LA and in Vung Tau Province in South Vietnam. His interests are varied and directly influenced by the schizophrenic nature of the internet. He is also inspired by both popular and regional culture, folklore, personal struggle and America's healthcare system.
